Steven Sours was born and raised in the Waynesboro and Lyndhurst area.  As a family man, Steve worked for many years in IT/Computers for a local factory, but he needed a change.  Loving the carpentry trade and having done small projects on his own and for others, Steve decided to start Sours Home Improvements.  He began his business 25 years ago building decks and doing small remodels and eventually, larger remodels.  He went on to build his own home in the Shannon Lea subdivision and his business was flourishing.  An opportunity then presented itself to partner with a large box store where Steve and his company became the only window and door installer for eight of the stores in their district.  Meanwhile, Steve built a second home on a small farm in the area where he currently resides.  At home he enjoys caring for and riding horses, and taking care of the farm. With the expressed interest of previous clients and many calls to his company asking if he did remodels, decks, bathrooms, etc., Steve decided to step back into the business he originally created and envisioned.

As a native to the area, Steve has seen Waynesboro and the surrounding areas grow dramatically, and with that, the need for an experienced, licensed contractor who can fill the need for specialized renovations and remodels.  He is excited to work with the community making the old, new, and helping folks realize their visions for their home.
